Rough plan for music video (editing and shots)

The transitions between shots will be mostly cuts because the song is fast paced, so fades would be to slow. We plan on using some fade to whites towards the end of the song. This to add a more surreal element as Connar our main character goes more insane.

We want the shots to be fast paced to fit the tempo of the music.
We will be adding an effect called cross processed to all of the shots, this makes the shot darker and gives it a blue tint, making it look colder and less homely.

All of the close ups we will set the focus so that the background is out of focus but the foreground is. This will add a more surreal element to the shots because it changes the depth perception.
For all the instrument shots we plan on filming the whole song through. This is so that we have a lot of footage to work with and pick the part of the song which looks best with that shot.
For all the acting shots we will film at least 3 times to get the best out come.

We will also film the whole song for each lip sink shot because we want the best part of the song for each shot.
